We pray...That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge
…that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Ephesians 3:17-19

DAY 24—When Love is perfected in us, we can have boldness in the day of judgment.
The concluding verse of the passage we have lifted out from Ephesians about the Ascension Gift Ministries becomes so full that it might require volumes to discuss it. But even then, its fullness cannot be disclosed in words. It leads us toward knowing the Body of Christ as a living “organism.” What it describes comes from the Lord Jesus Himself and moves toward our becoming the demonstration in earth of Who He is in Heaven. Take note that the last word in this passage is love.
-
Ephesians 4:16—(even Christ) from Whom the whole Body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
What John told in his first Epistle may be even more difficult for our minds to comprehend. But—that’s why we have a heart.
-
I John 4:17—Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world.
Christ’s Body is compacted together. This means there is a sharing of life and love that moves throughout His Body which is the Church. This is imparted from Christ Himself to the Body by the ministries that He appointed.
-
John 17:21— (Jesus prayed) That they all may be one; as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be one in Us: that the world may believe that Thou hast sent Me...
-
1 John 4:12—If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
LORD JESUS, You are my life. Your are OUR life! May Who You are and What You are become known in us as we fellowship one with the other. May something be born of Your Spirit in our midst that will move out to touch the lives of those outside our fellowship. Let what You do in us touch the nations for the sake of Your Kingdom And, FATHER, may the prayer that Jesus prayed be answered in us. Oh, let us be a demonstration of that oneness for which He prayed!
